Ideas that move people

Service to Life works with businesses, organisations and communities that want to explore purpose, responsibility and their place in a rapidly changing world.

We combine journalism, conversation, music, humour and practical thinking to create experiences that people remember – and ideas they can carry into their work and lives.

Men of Service – live on stage

Christian and Mik bring stories, music, humour and honest conversation together in a one-hour live presentation.

Men of Service explores masculinity, meaning, artificial intelligence, ecological breakdown and what it means to place our abilities and strength in service to life.

The performance can be presented at conferences, workplaces, festivals, community events and private gatherings.

Talks, workshops and conversations

We create tailored sessions for leadership teams, employees, members and community groups.

Topics can include purpose, responsibility, masculinity, the future of work, ecological awareness, cultural change and the deeper values guiding an organisation.

Sessions can take the form of a keynote talk, an interactive workshop or a facilitated conversation.

Media and creative partnerships

We work with selected businesses that share our commitment to healthier communities and a more life-serving economy.

Partnerships can include recognition and promotion through the Service to Life website, podcast, publishing, music, newsletters and live events.

We can also help businesses communicate their purpose through interviews, articles, audio, music and human-centred storytelling.

How we work

Every collaboration begins with a real conversation

We do not begin with a standard package or a polished sustainability slogan.

We begin by understanding who you want to reach, what question needs to be opened and what you hope people will think, feel or do differently afterwards.

1

Step One: Start with the real question

We listen to what your organisation, audience or community is facing. It may concern purpose, leadership, workplace culture, responsibility, communication, staff engagement or preparing for a changing future. Together, we identify the question that matters most.

2

Step Two: Shape the right experience

We select the format that best serves your purpose – a live performance, keynote, workshop, facilitated conversation, media partnership or combination of these. The language, stories, music and examples can be adapted to suit your audience.

3

Step Three: Turn attention into action

A successful event should do more than briefly inspire people. We help create a clear conclusion, invitation or next step so that the experience can lead to further conversation, changed behaviour or a longer partnership.

“The aim is not simply to leave people impressed for an hour. It is to leave them seeing their work, their choices and their responsibility differently.”
